Since we acquired our first boer goats in June 2018, we joined the Doornpoort Genetics group as it underscored the values and ethics we wanted to implement in our breeding program – to breed uniform adapted animals with the same features which are functionally effective, hardy and adaptable under extensive and intensive conditions.

To be able to obtain these objectives in our stud animals, all our animals are managed the same way and farmed extensively during daytime but kraaling at night. It enables the animals to have strong muscular development in the hind legs and jaws from browsing trees and bush and foraging for food in a natural environment.

By improving our management system, we can provide data on any of our boer goats to potential buyers regarding breeding history, medication, weight and additional notes.
